Using the Camera to Record and Analyze a Golf Swing

On your smartphone, start up the EXILIM Remote for GOLF app.
This will cause the camera to send the movie you just recorded to the
smartphone. After the send operation is complete, the camera will return to its
normal recording standby state.
• If the message “Connect your phone to the access point below.” remains on
the camera’s monitor screen, check the smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings (page
175).
• The movie is stored in the phone’s “EXILIM Remote for GOLF” folder.
Use the procedure below to change the guidelines that are displayed when recording
a swing with a BEST SHOT golf swing scene, or when displaying guidelines in a
movies of a left-handed golfer.

In the REC mode, press [MENU].
2.
Press [4], use [8] and [2] to select the “r REC MENU” tab, and then
press [6].
3.
Use [8] and [2] to select “Lefty”, and then press [6].
4.
Use [8] and [2] to select “On” and then press [SET].
NOTE
• When you record a movie with “Movie Editing(Golf)” (page 161) enabled, the
camera automatically trims the beginning and end of the movie. Make sure that the
“Lefty” setting is correct for the golfer you are recording (“On” for a left-handed
golfer, “Off” for a right-handed golfer).
