If the hot line is on the number is displayed. To call
it press any key on the cordless phone.
Switching the hot line off
To switch the hot line off:
1. Press and then quickly press for two seconds.
If the programming security for the cordless
phone is on four dashes are displayed. If so enter
the PIN code for the cordless phone (default is
0000).
2. Two dashes are displayed.
3. Enter 54.
4. Press and then press .
The hot line function is turned off.
Call barring
You can prevent certain numbers being called with a cordless
phone by blocking those numbers in the home base station.
You can still receive incoming calls. You can switch call
barring on and off in the cordless phone. Call barring in
the cordless phone is off by default.
If you press
while call barring is on the lock icon
flashes until you go on hook again. Should you call a
blocked number the line will always indicate busy.
You can also have call barring by your telephone
operator. It remains in effect irrespective of the
settings of the cordless phone and home base station.

Switching call barring on and off
Each cordless phone (if you have more than one)
should have call barring set on or off separately. Call
barring is off by default.
1. Press and then press for 2 seconds.
