2.2 Protection features
For your safety, the following monitoring and protective functions are integrated into the XP10U inverter:
• Overvoltage conductors/varistors to protect the power semiconductors from high-energy transients on the
grid and PV array side
• Temperature monitoring of the heat sink
• EMC fi lters to protect the inverter from high-frequency grid interference
• Grid-side grounded varistors to protect the inverter against surge pulses
• Islanding detection according to VDE 0126-1-1 and IEEE 1547
