SAFETY CHAINS
Insert a 3/8” x 1 ¼” hex bolt through a 3/8” flat washer and then into
the end link of one safety chain. Insert the bolt into the front bottom
hole punched in the tongue. Place another 3/8” flat washer on the
bolt and secure with a 3/8” flange lock nut. Tighten.
Repeat this process on the other safety chain.
WINCH POST.
Position the winch post on the tongue and secure in place using ½”
x 3 9/16” x 3 7/8” square U-bolts. Secure with ½” flange lock nuts.
Tighten only to hold in position because they will have to be moved
when the pontoon is placed on the trailer.
Attach the adjustable bow stop section to the winch post using
three 3/8” X 3 3/4” Carriage bolts and securing with 3/8” flange lock
