4. Configuration
UniConfig—Stage 2
S Always read the current configuration before making changes.
2 Choose ‘Machine Control Port Setup’ from the Window menu:
Click ‘Read’ to get a list of port types. Initially, all ports are of the default type.
3 Select one or more of the ports in the list and right-click your mouse. The context menu that
appears contains a list of port types:
Choose one of the types to apply to your selection and release the mouse button.
See Port Types on page 8 for information on port types.
4 Click the ‘Write’ button at any time to send the port type definitions to the NV5256.
