Overview of the front panel components
The front panel of the iTX Ingest Appliance provides convenient access to the hard drives, a
DVD ROM drive, and a control panel that provides some system monitoring and control.
There are several LEDs on the control panel as well as others on the hard drive carriers to
keep you constantly informed of the overall status of the system as well as the activity and
health of specific components. There are also two buttons on the chassis control panel and
an on/off switch on the power supply.
Figure 1-1 and the following sections describes each component on the iTX Ingest
Appliance’s front panel.
