Connecting to the electricity supply
Warning: This appliance must be
earthed. Do not earth this
appliance to gas supply piping.
Connect to 230 - 240V AC supply
only.
Connection to the electricity supply
must be carried out by a qualified
electrician/competent person.
•
The electrical connection should be
made using a double pole isolating
switch (cooker socket) with at least
3mm contact separation in all poles.
The cable must have conductors of
sufficiently high cross-sectional area
to prevent overheating and
deterioration.
•
The recommended cross-section
area is six square millimetres
(6.00mm
2
).
•
The cable should be routed away
from potentially hot areas marked
by X.
Note: House circuit
Earth leakage / continuity tests must be
carried out before the appliance is
connected to the mains supply and re-
checked after fitting.
