Table 2 Configuration items
Item Description
Zone ID
Set an ID for the security zone to be created. A security zone ID must be unique on a
virtual firewall.
Zone Name Specify a name for the security zone.
Preference
Set the preference for the security zone.
By default, packets from a higher-priority security zone to a lower-priority security zone
are allowed to pass.
Share Specify whether the security zone can be accessed by other virtual firewalls.
Adding interfaces to a security zone
1. Select Device Management > Zone from the navigation tree.
2. Click the icon corresponding to the security zone to be configured to enter the page for
modifying the zone.

3. Modify the zone as described in Table 3 .

Zone ID/Zone
Name/Virtual Device
The items indicate the zone ID, name, and the virtual device to which the zone
belongs.
These parameters cannot be modified.
