1-4 Standard Features
Mechanical
Compressors
Hermetic compressors are used on on 5 hp to 10 hp models, Semi-hermetic Discus compressors
are used on 15 to 40 hp models.
Evaporator
Cleanable shell and tube evaporators are used on Glacier chillers.
Condenser
Fin/tube condensers are used on NXGA air-cooled units with air filter(s), package unit only.
Cleanable shell and tube condensers are used on NXGW water-cooled units with cooling water
regulating valves for tower or city water.
Remote air-cooled copper tube/aluminum fin with low ambient control via pressure-actuated fan
staging and a variable-speed primary fan are used on NXGR remote air-cooled models.
Reservoir
40-gallon polyethylene tanks are used on 5 hp to 30 hp models.
60-gallon mild steel tanks are used on 35 and 40 hp models.
Pump
Non-overloading ODP motor, horizontally-mounted with seal flush line.
Other Mechanical Features
• NEMA-rated ODP fan/blower motor(s) (air-cooled units)
• Painted structural steel frame and panels with 4” swivel casters
