Door Interlock
The door interlock option is a solenoid installed on the door which automatically locks the
enclosure door when you apply power to your chiller.
Non-Fused Through-Door Disconnect
This option provides fast, safe power disconnection for your chiller. This large rotary switch is
located on the front door of the unit enclosure. The design also lets you place a padlock on the
switch for added safety. It is available in 208, 230, 460, and 575 voltages.
General Fault Indicator
This option transmits an alarm signal to alarm device(s) when any of the inherent safeties are
tripped.
Audible/Visual High-Temperature Alarms
These options provide a strobe and buzzer to alert the operator of temperatures above the alarm
set point. It also includes an audible alarm silence switch. A separate visual-only alarm option is
available without the buzzer.
High Pressure Fans
High pressure fans are available for installations where the exiting air is to be exhausted though
ductwork. These fans are available on 5 through 15 horsepower air-cooled Glacier chillers. They
may be retro-fitted without sheet metal modification.
Mounting Options
All standard air-cooled NXGA and water-cooled NXGW Glacier chillers come standard with 4”
swivel casters, which can be deleted at the time of order. Remote air-cooled NXGR Glacier
chillers come standard with mounting rails, which are available as an option to air- and water-
cooled Glacier models. Mounting rails add 5” to unit length.
Other mounting options include 5”-diameter swivel casters with brake and rubber mounting feet.
The larger casters add 1” to unit height.
Compressor Hour Meter
This option keeps track of the total time that the compressor runs when your Glacier chiller is
operating.
Special Pumps
Special pump options are available for greater pressure and flow rates. One and two pump
configurations with 1.5, 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 horsepower pumps are offered. A special high-pressure
10-hp pump is also available.
