7-4 Freezestat Light
This indicator lights if the chilled water temperature drops below the Freezestat setting. This
prevents possible system freeze-up. The compressor will shut off and the chilled water pump will
continue to operate.
Caution!
Your AEC, Inc. warranty does not cover damage from system freeze-up.
Make sure the freezestat is set properly to prevent freeze-up!
7-5 Low Oil Pressure Light
This indicator light, installed on chillers with 15 horsepower compressors and larger, lights if
compressor oil pressure drops to a dangerous level. After two minutes of low oil pressure, the
compressor will shut down.
This is a manual reset control. Call a qualified refrigeration service technician or the Application
Engineering Service Department for repairs.
7-6 Power Light
This indicator lights whenever the power switch is in the ON position and the control circuit is
energized.
Note: The crankcase heater is energized whenever main power is applied to the chiller. The
position of the power switch does not affect the operation of the crankcase heater.
7-7 Hot-Gas Bypass Light
This indicator lights when the hot-gas bypass valve is in operation. The "OUT" LED on the NX
Controller will also light when the hot-gas bypass valve is in operation.
7-8 Compressor Light
This indicator lights whenever the compressor is operating.
