Chapter 1 System Architecture
There are two modes of SIPPBX application, normal mode as figure 1.1
and voice gateway mode can be configured as figure 1.2.
Normal Service Mode:
It can be used in the following environments:
- All subscriber/extension is running in private network and no external
subscriber will access to SIPPBX 6200 via Internet. In this case, you can
set SIPPBX 6200 in normal mode and assign the private IP address to
them.
- You already have a well controlled NAT box/server and you have branch
office or traveler user will act as a remote extension in SIPPBX 6200. In this
case, you can set to normal mode and assign 2 public IP address for
SIPPBX. Thus in private IP user will able to access to SIPPBX 6200
through NAT server. SIPPBX 6200 will do the NAT transversal for you.
