Installation of the AVTrac can be divided into six main sections:
Before Getting Started
Decide where the Track will be placed (pages 4 and 5) and, if necessary, prepare †
the site.
Open the two boxes containing the AVTrac kit and identify all the items provided

(pages 2 and 3).
Gather any additional tools needed for installation (page 6).

Step 1 — Install Track
Remove existing carpeting (page 7). †
Cut a hole in drywall for cables (page 8). †
Measure and cut track pieces (pages 8 and 9). †
Secure the track to the floor (pages 10 and 11). †
Step 2 — Install Connectivity Box
Remove the top cover and end plates from connectivity box and place the box on †
the track (pages 10 and 11).
Secure the connectivity box to the track and floor (page 11).

Step 3 — Install AC Power Module
Seat and secure AC power module in connectivity box (page 12). †
Run AC conduit and connect to junction box (page 12). †
Step 4 — Install Architectural Adapter Plates
Install AAPs in connectivity box cover panel (page 13). †
Run and connect cables to the AAPs (page 13). †
Reattach the end plates and cover panel (page 13). †
Step 5 — Finishing Up
Snap on cover track (page 14). †
Cut and glue carpet to side and end ramps (pages 14 and 15). †
Trim wall baseboards and apply carpet or rubber strip finish to cover track †
raceway (page 15).
