ATTENTION
After carrying out all work on
the units, an electrical safety
test must be carried out in
accordance with VDE 0701.
NOTE
Only authorised specialists
may undertake repairs and
maintenance.
Repair
■
If the fin exchanger surface is
covered with grease or sooty
particles, the exchanger ele-
ment can be removed and
cleaned with a steam-jet degre-
aser using low pressure and a
suitable cleaning agent.
■
Remove heavy fouling on the
fan and aluminium fins with a
soap solution.
■
Clean the condensate tank in
the unit housing to remove dirt
deposits.
To ensure complete drainage of
the condensate tank, the suction
opening of the condensate hose
must be fixed at the lowest point
of the cover.
The condensate sensor must be
arranged slightly above the suction
opening.
Bottom edge of sensor = top edge
of suction opening.
Routing must take place as show
in the following diagram.
F = Sensor cable
K = Condensate hose (internal ø 6)

Replacing the fin heat exchanger
1. Remove the cover of the unit
completely.
(See care and maintenance)
2. Disconnect the electrical con-
nection of the fan.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic con-
nection.
4. Remove the bottom support
plate (6 screws).
5. Remove the support plate with
fin exchanger downwards.
6. Carefully re-install the replace-
ment heat exchanger and all
further components in reverse
order.
Fan replacement
1. Remove the cover of the unit.
(See care and maintenance)
2. Disconnect the electrical con-
nection of the fan.
3. Remove the protection grille
with fan from the housing.
4. Carefully refit the new fan in
reverse order.
5. Check the fan impeller for
smooth operation and freedom
of movement with respect to
the fan housing.
6. Re-establish the electrical con-
nection of the motor correctly.
ATTENTION
Prior to carrying out mainte-
nance or repairs, the unit must
always be disconnected from
the mains supply and locked to
prevent unauthorised recon-
nection.
