SETTING THE 1U SCSI ID

When connecting multiple 1U units each unit must have a unique SCSI ID. The SCSI ID can be set on each unit via a dip switch on
the back of the 1U unit. The Chart below illustrates the settings of the dip switches when adding multiple units. Each unit must have a
unique SCSI ID to identify the device.

CAUTION:

Do not change the SCSI ID while the device is running.

NOTE

Install the Multi-Mode Terminator on the last unit.

SETTING THE 1U MODE

The 1U Rack mount system’s MODE setting configures the unit to run in either JBOD mode or Normal mode. In either mode, the
transfer rate can be set by adjusting the MODE dip switches on the back of the 1U unit.
