SECTION 2 - PREINSTALLATION
2-1 LOCATION
CONSIDERATIONS
OPERATING ENVIRONMENT. Provide an operating environment which meets the following conditions:
• AMBIENT TEMPERATURE
32° to 104°F
0° to 40°C
• RELATIVE HUMIDITY
5% to 95% (non-condensing)
POSITIONING. Provide at least 3” (inch) clearance between wall and rear panel of unit. The Iso-Care and NRT
are air cooled by convection. Position unit so that air can circulate freely to bottom, front and rear vent panels.
2-2 UNPACKING
The Iso-Care and NRT are shipped on a pallet, secured with metal bands. The unit can be handled using a fork lift
or pallet jack.
DANGER!!
CUT METAL BANDS CAREFULLY. THEY ARE UNDER TENSION AND MAY CAUSE
INJURY.
1.
Position the container away from walls or other obstructions.
2.
Cut metal shipping bands.
3.
Remove cardboard cover. Avoid puncturing the cardboard cover with sharp objects which may damage the surface of
the unit.
4.
Remove the unit from the pallet using a pallet jack or fork lift.
5.
Remove protective plastic film.
6.
Inspect unit for damage per Section 2-3.
7.
Move unit to installation site.
8.
Before final positioning of Iso-Care or NRT, verify that all cable routing conduit and raceway is positioned
properly.
