When Installing Along with Starsys Work Centers:

1. Remove the packaged brackets and guides from the inside of the unit.
2. Follow the instructions provided from the Work Center units to install the

Scope Cabinet. Refer to the “Installation – Install Tall Units” section listed

on page 14.

When Installing as a Stand-Alone Unit:

1. Position the Cabinet in the desired location in room.
2. Remove the packaged brackets and guides from the inside of the unit.
3. Double check that the installation will not interfere with wiring or other

obstacles including sprinkler systems. If necessary contact a qualified

professional to re-route wires and/or cables prior to installation.

4. Check that the unit is level and plumb. If unit is not level, you must adjust

the leveling feet.

5. Remove the drip pan and locate four (4) holes in the bottom floor of the unit.
6. Using a slotted screwdriver, turn the screw to lower or raise the leveling feet

(

See Figure 1). Turn the screw clockwise to raise unit, counter clock-wise to

lower the unit.

7. Adjust each leveling foot as necessary to level unit. Once unit is level, place

black plugs (included) into each hole.

8. If the optional Back wall Trim Kit was ordered, it must be installed before the

unit is affixed to the wall or floor.

9. The kit consists of two (4) filler strips and 4 wall guides. Components must

be cut to fit the desired height of the cabinet.

10. Carefully slide the filler strips into channels on rear posts (

See Figure 2). Be

sure strip slides straight down and stay in channel. The (2) top strips will need

to be cut to match the top of the unit.

11. Slide flat side of wall guides down along wall so wall guide channel runs over

edge of filler strip (

See Figure 3). Once wall guides are in place, mark wall

along side of wall guides.

12. Set wall guides in a safe location and move unit aside. Reposition the guides

to the marked locations and secure with double-sided tape or screws

(not provided).

13. If necessary, scribe filler strips to fit into wall guide channel. Remove filler strips

from unit. Carefully score filler strip along marked line with a utility knife. Using

pliers, gently snap off scored pieces. Replace strips into channel on rear posts

(

See Figure 4).

14. Using the appropriate fasteners, secure the unit to the wall through mounting

brackets. Stud mounting is preferred whenever possible (

See Figure 5).
