A minimum of 8 VDC and a maximum of 36 VDC external excitation voltage is used to power the loop. A
typical application would use a 24 V loop supply. The loop may use either a grounded load (the supply
"floats"), or a grounded supply, (the load "floats"). Both methods are shown in Figure 7.
4-20mA OUTPUTS - The 4-20 mA may be hooked up with either a
floating supply or a floating load. Both methods are shown here.
