BEFORE TRANSPORTING MMP4
These procedures are used to perform a walk-around
inspection on the MMP4 prior to transporting the unit.
1. Ensure unit is safe for operation.
2. Engine – STAR/RUN, LOW IDLE
3. Lift INTAKE Boom - COMPLETED
4. Remove INTAKE Boom Flange Bolts – REMOVED
AND SECURED
5. Install and secure INTAKE Boom Travel Straps,
Safety Chains, Chains and Bolts – CHECKED AND
SECURED
6. Lift and Preload Discharge cylinder, release safety
chain - COMPLETED
7. Lower DISCHARGE Boom- LOWERED
8. Remove DISCHARGE Boom Flange Bolts –
REMOVED AND SECURED
