Preparation
q SIGNAL GND (ground) terminal
Used to connect the earth wire of a turntable.
NOTE
This terminal is not a safety ground.
w Audio input connectors (AUDIO IN)
Used to connect devices equipped with analog audio
connectors (vpage 8).
e Input/output connectors (Recordings)
(RECORDER-1, RECORDER-2)
Used to connect to a recording device (vpage 9).
r Speaker system terminals
(SPEAKER SYSTEMS)
Used to connect speakers (vpage 7).
t REMOTE CONTROL connectors
Used to connect to a Marantz audio device that is compatible
with the remote control function (vpage 15).

y AMPLIFIER MODE switch
Used to switch the amplifier mode (STEREO/BI-AMP)
(vpage 11, 12).
u F.C.B.S. connectors
Used to connect a high quality playback system using two
or more of these units (vpage 10).
i AC inlet (AC IN)
Used to connect the power cord (vpage 15).
o Power amplifier direct connectors
(POWER AMP DIRECT IN)
Used to connect a pre-amplifier when this unit is used as a
power amplifier (vpage 14).
Q0 PRE OUT connectors
Use this to add such equipment as a power amplifier or
subwoofer (vpage 14).
