Set up
the remote control unit
n Set up the operation mode
Press AMP to set the remote control
unit to amplifier operation mode.

SPKR-C Set for connecting a tweeter of
a front speaker to the SURR.
BACK/AMP ASSIGN terminals
and a woofer of the front speaker
to the FRONT A terminals.

Set up “F. Height”
Press u to select “F. Height”.
Measure Set to measure the front height
speakers.
Skip Set not to measure the front
height speakers.
Set up speakers
around items indicate the settings.
This section provides the setup methods of speaker systems other than the 7.1-channel system (with surround back speakers).
For the setup methods of the 7.1-channel system with surround back speakers, see “Set up speakers (Audyssey® Auto Setup)” (vpage 6) of “Simple
version”.
First install and connect the speakers to this unit.

Set up “Front.Sp.”
Use ui to select “Front Sp.” and
then press o p to select a speaker.
A Select this to use front speaker A.
B Select this to use front speaker B.
A+B Select this to use front speakers A and B
simultaneously.
NOTE
If “Mesure” is selected in step 5, select “A”. If
“B” is selected, the “F.Height” measurement
cannot be performed.

NOTE
After performing Audyssey Auto Setup, do not
change the speaker connections or subwoofer
volume. In event of a change, perform Audyssey
Auto Setup again.
