3.10 | system connections
Connect the Data CAT5 RJ45 cable that is going to the first Emerald OP to the
connection marked “TO OP” on the MPI.
Connect the Audio CAT5 RJ45 cable that is going to the first Emerald OP to the
connection marked “AUDIO OUT” on the MPI.
You must also connect a ground wire from the MPI to the first Emerald OP. Doing this
connects the MPI ground to the Emerald OP ground. (Negative terminal on Emerald OP).
All wiring from the MPI must go to the SAME OP and must remain consistent.
See the MPI label to verify which audio or paging input you may need and to connect
appropriate music source or phone page into the MPI.
