Lid open safety devices:
This original device means that it is possible
to add or remove an item of laundry
throughout the duration of the wash. To do
this, release the "On/Off" button before
opening the lid. Then, after closing the lid
again, press the "On/Off" button again. The
cycle will continue as normal.
However, we recommend that you do not
do this more than 10 to 15 minutes after the
beginning of the cycle so as to achieve a
perfect wash.
On the other hand, for your safety, during
the weighing and spin-drying periods, you
must wait for 2 to 3 minutes after releasing
the "On/Off" button before opening the lid.
Water security:
When the machine is operating the water
level is checked continuously to prevent
any overflow.
Spinning safety device:
Your washing machine is fitted with a safety
device that prevents spinning if it detects
uneven loading.
In this case: open the drum, redistribute the
clothes and programme a further spinning.

Automatic safety devices
Selecting a wash programme
In the ”COTTON” programme, the cycle starts with a weighing sequence. This is done
by measuring deceleration after increasing speed to 400 rpm. With ”SYNTHETIC” or
”WOOL” selected, this measurement is not performed because these programmes are
designed to wash reduced loads.
Starting the machine
Check that the power cable is plugged
in and the water inlet tap open.
Programme your machine and then
press in the "On/Off" button.
The washing cycle begins, and the
light (A) comes on.
Do not start the machine unless the
drum loading doors and the machine
lid are properly closed.
Stopping the machine
The light
(B) comes on at the end
of the cycle. The drum will stop with the
flaps on top.
Switch off the machine by releasing
the "On/-Off" button.
The lights go out.
Mise en marche de la
You can then open the lid and remove
your laundry.
You should also release any other
buttons you have selected.
As a safety measure, you should
unplug the power cable and close the
water inlet valve.
If light
(B) does not come on at
the end of the cycle, this results from
poor distribution of wash in the drum.
In such a case:
• Switch off the machine
• Open the lid and turn the drum by
hand to bring the flaps to the top.
