Optional Rotisserie Assembly Instructions
9. Rotisserie Shaft Assembly.
Assemble the rotisserie shaft in the order shown.
Screw on the knurled nut to the threaded end of the
rotisserie shaft, followed by the counter balance, then
fit the handle. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
Now, working from the opposite end of the rotisserie
shaft, slip on the grooved collar first, then fit the two
meat prongs. The meat prongs can be adjusted by
sliding them along the length of the shaft, use the
locking thumbscrew to secure the prongs in position.
See Fig 8.
The pointed end of the shaft must be located in
the motor drive socket. With the rotisserie in place,
slide the grooved collar to the right hand side of the
rotisserie hood base frame and position the groove
on the locating cut-out. Lock the collar in place by
tightening the locking nut. The collar prevents the
rotisserie shaft from slipping out of the drive socket
during operation. See Fig 9 and 10.

Counter Balance
The counter balance is used to balance the rotisserie
when the food mass cannot be centralised. Loosen
the handle and adjust the balance by varying the
position of the weight directly opposite to the
heaviest area. Spin the rotisserie by hand to test
balance before connecting the motor. When using
the spit basket, position the counter balance directly
opposite the basket.
See Fig 11.
