To pair/connect your phone with a Bluetooth device
To exchange data with another device, you need to turn Bluetooth on and pair
your phone with the Bluetooth device with which you want to exchange data.
• Touch on the Quick settings bar to get to
Settings.
• Touch
Bluetooth and turn it on.
• Touch a Bluetooth device you want to be paired with in the list.
• A dialog will pop up, touch
Pair to confirm.
• If the pairing is successful, your phone will connect with the device.
To disconnect/unpair from a Bluetooth device
• Touch the Settings icon
beside the device you want to unpair.
• Touch
Forget to confirm.

Connecting to a computer
With the USB cable, you can transfer media files and other files between
microSD card/internal storage and a computer.
Before using MTP or PTP, first mark
USB debugging.
• To open it, touch
Settings\About phone, then touch Build number 7 times.
Then touch
Settings\Developer options\USB debugging.
To connect your phone to/from the computer:
• Use the USB cable that came with your phone to connect the phone to a
USB port on your computer. You will receive a notification that the USB is
connected.
• If you use MTP or PTP, your phone will be automatically connected.
For Windows XP or lower operating systems, you should download
and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer from the
following link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-
media-player.
To locate the data you have transferred or downloaded to the internal
storage:
• Touch the Application tab from the Home screen to open the applications list.
• Touch
File Manager.
All data you have downloaded is stored in
File Manager, where you can
see media files (videos, photos, music and others), rename files, install
applications on your phone, etc.
To format a microSD card
• Touch on the Quick settings bar to get to
Settings.
• Touch
Storage.
• Touch
Format SD card, a popup message appears to warn you that
formatting the microSD card will erase its contents.
• Touch
to confirm.

Sharing your phone's mobile data connection
You can share your phone's mobile data connection with a single computer via
USB cable (USB tethering) or with up to eight devices at once by turning your
phone into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
To turn on USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot
• Touch
Settings\More...\Tethering & portable hotspot.
• Touch the switch
of
USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot to activate this
function.
These functions may incur additional network charges from your
network operator. Extra fees may also be charged in roaming areas.
You can check data usage by touching
Settings\Data usage.
