Text messages (SMS)

Request delivery
report
Mark to request a delivery report for each text
message you send.
• Manage SIM card
messages
Touch to see or manage messages on your SIM
card.
• Edit quick text Touch to add or edit message templates.
• SMS service centre Touch to see or edit your SMS service centre.
• Validity period Touch to select your SMS validity period.
• SMS storage location Touch to choose either phone or SIM card for storing
messages.
• Alphabet
management
Touch to choose Auto format, Super compact or
Precise mode for Alphabet management.
• SMS signature Mark to enable/disable the SMS signature.
Multimedia messages (MMS)
•
Group messaging Mark the checkbox to send a single message to
multiple recipients.
• Request delivery

Select to request a delivery report for each
multimedia message you send.
• Request read reports Select to request a report on whether each recipient
has read a multimedia message sent by you.
• Send read report Select to request a report on whether the multimedia
message has been sent out.
• Auto-retrieve Select to download full MMS message (including
message body and attachment) automatically to
your phone. Otherwise, download only the MMS
message header.
• Roaming auto-
retrieve
Select to download full MMS message (including
message body and attachment) automatically
when roaming. Otherwise, download only the MMS
message header to avoid extra charges.
• Creation mode Touch to set MMS creation mode when composing
messages.
• Maximum
message size
Select to edit the message size limit, but it should
not be more than 300KB.
• Priority Set MMS priority as High, Normal or Low.
Notifications
•
Notifications Select to display message notifications in status bar.
• Mute Select to mute phone notifications when receiving a
new message.
• Sound Touch to select a ringtone as a new message
notification tone.
• Popup notification Select to show popup for push notifications.
