5.4 Immediate side-shift movement
The ISS screw permits the fixation of the immediate side-shift.
By turning the ISS screw (10.0), the desired distance from the
Bennett flap (3.1) to the joint bolt can be fixed. The distance can
be continuously fixed between 0 and 1.5 mm and read off the ISS
scale (10.2).
5.5 Retrusion
The retrusion screw (9.1) permits the fixation of the retrusive
movements.
To simulate retrusive movements, the centric fixation lock (4.1)
must be open and the screw to fix the protrusive movement (9.1)
loosened. Moreover, the Bennett flap (3.1) must be set to 0°. This
allows retrusive movements to be carried out properly.
The distance may be continuously set from 0 to 2 mm with the
retrusion screw (12.0) and read off the PR scale (9.0).
