53. VHS to DVD Plus
4.3. Audio Recorder
You can start the audio recorder by clicking “Audio Recorder” from the main menu screen.
The Audio Recorder allows you to create MP3 files and audio CD/DVDs from LP records,
cassettes, video tapes and more.
4.3.1 Setup & Recording
1) Simply connect an Audio source to your capture device and press play.
2) Verify your signal is detected with the Signal Frequency Bars (see illustration below).
(If no Bars are visible when playing your audio source, re-check your cables and
connections between your audio player and the capture device. You may need to
verify the output signal from your audio source by connecting the player to a stereo,
using the same connections and cables, or, if using a headphone output, test the
output with headphones.)
3) Position your audio source to the start position, press play, and then press the
Record button in the Audio Recorder (see the Transport Functions section 4.3.2).
4) Press the Stop button when you have finished recording.
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 to record additional tracks.
Click the Burn button if you wish to burn your audio tracks to CD or DVD (see the Burning
section 4.3.6).
