4.2.2.1 Editing in Player Panel
Editing video clips (or removing unwanted scenes).
In order to remove a section of footage from the video you have recorded, you must cut out the
sections you wish to keep, leaving the unwanted video behind. Place your 'Mark in' and 'Mark
out' edit points around the section of video you want to keep and click the scissors to "cut it
out" and move it to the storyboard section below. After you have "cut out" all the video you wish
to keep and arranged them within the storyboard, you need to recombine them by using the
“merge and save” floppy disk button.

1. Play the video in the Player Panel (Double-click on the recorded thumbnail clip in
the File Pool to play).

Position the scroll bar ( ) to the beginning of the segment that you want
keep. You can also play the video and click on the Start Edit Point ( )
button at the beginning of the section that you want to keep.
3. Position the scroll bar ( ) at the end of the segment that you want to keep.
You can also play the video and click on the End Edit Point ( ) button at the
end of the segment you want to keep.
