Scope These operating instructions shall apply to:
• Pressure-reducing valves
(PN 10–40)
• Relief valves
(PN 10–40)
with fitted membrane actuator
Product description
Pressure-reducing valves:
These are used to maintain constant pressures downstream of
where they are installed. Pressure-reducing valves of this type
are suitable for water, vapour, neutral non-flammable vapours
and gases and liquids.
Relief valves:
These are used to maintain constant pressures upstream of
where they are installed. Relief valves of this type are suitable
for water vapour, neutral non-flammable vapours and gases and
liquids.
1. Installation
The valve must be installed and commissioned by
qualified staff. Qualified staff is defined as personnel
who are familiar with the installation, commissioning
and operation of this product and possess the
relevant qualifications in their field of activity.
