2 Playlist Edit
Playlists can be edited, created and deleted.

At the top menu in the Utility
mode, turn the PARAMETERS
knob and select “Playlist Edit”.
Press the knob again to enter.

The “Playlist Edit” list
is displayed.

With the file edit list displayed,
turn the PARAMETERS knob to
select “File Transport”, then
press the PARAMETERS knob
to set.

Select the device to
which the files are to
be transported.
q The currently
connected devices
are displayed on
the left side of the
screen.
w Turn the PARAMETERS knob or scratch disc to
select the device for which the playlist is to be
created. Press the PARAMETERS knob to set.

Select the device from
which the files are to
be transported.

When a file is selected,
the data is added to
the list on the left.
Up to 99 files can be
added at once.
• When
“Save&Exit” is
selected:
Move to step 6.
• When “Clear” is selected:
The added files are cleared.

When “Save & Exit” is
selected, a popup
confirmation message
appears.
• When “OK” is
selected:
The files selected
at step 5 are
transported to the device selected in step 2.
• When “Cancel” is selected:
The files are not transported to the device
selected in step 2.
The display returns to as it was in step 5.

Select the files to be

searching function
can only be used if
the device from
which the files are
to be transported
has a full database.

Selecting the device
q A list of the currently
connected devices (with
database) is displayed on
the left side of the
screen.
w Turn the
PARAMETERS
knob and select the
device for which
you want to create
the playlist.
Press the knob
again to enter.
When the playlist create mode was selected,
proceed to step 4.

Creating playlists (only
when “Edit” is
selected)
q On the Playlist
Search window at
the left, select and
set the playlist to
be edited.
See “Playlist Search” on page 12.

select “Edit”.
Press the knob
again to enter.
w The unit is set to
the mode for
creating new
playlists.

q At the top menu in the Utility mode, turn the
PARAMETERS knob and select “Create”.
w The unit is set to the mode for creating new
playlists.

Selecting the item to be edited
q A list of editing items is
displayed on the left side.
w At the list, turn the
PARAMETERS
knob to select the
item to be edited.
e After pressing the
PARAMETERS
knob to enter the
setting, proceed to
(depending on the
editing item
selected in w):
• Move: Step 5
• Add: See “Playlist Create” on page 12.
• Title Delete: Step 6
