REMOTE CONTROL REGISTRATION
You must install the RF remote control antenna before doing the registration.
1. Press and hold the “OK” button on the Hydra HD front panel for approx. 5 seconds. When releasing the
“OK” button, the Hydra HD front panel will display “RC REG”. The Hydra HD is now in remote
registration mode.

2. On the remote control, press and hold the “STB” button for approx. 5 seconds. The “STB” button
backlight will illuminate. Now the remote control is in registration mode.

3. Select the decoder to register by:
Press “1” to register remote control to decoder 1.
Press “2” to register remote control to decoder 2.
Press “3” to register remote control to decoder 3.
Press “0” to set remote control to IR mode only. The remote control will not send any RF signal.
Pressing a key other than “0”, “1”, “2”, “3” or a button is not pressed within 10 seconds, the “STB”
backlight will extinguish and the remote control registration process will be terminated.
4. The Hydra HD front panel will display “RC REG Dx” to indicate that the registration process was
successful.
