9.1 Powering-Up Hydra
Follow these steps to power up the Hydra HD:
1. Follow your TV/Network service provider’s instruction to connect the Hydra HD to your network modem
or network access unit using the Ethernet cable comes packaged with the Hydra HD.

2. Plug the socket end of the AC/DC adapter into the wall socket and the DC jack into the power
connector on the Hydra HD.
3. The Hydra HD front panel power indicator will illuminate in orange color.
4. Within 10 seconds the Hydra HD front panel will display “BOOT” and then “WELCOME”.
