GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The R.L. Drake model SCTeci is a professional quality
digital head end Ethernet Control Interface which accepts
RS232 serial data from the Drake family of transcoders.
The Drake transcoders supply the RS232 data by means
of their required Drake PS100 or PS151 power supplies.
The SCTeci then converts this RS232 data to Ethernet
format, thus permitting remote observation and control via
Internet or LAN. Control of up to 63 SCT860 transcoders
and up to 70 SCTx860 transcoders is possible using a
single SCTeci.
The SCTeci acts as a server, containing the software
needed to provide the required displays on a remote
