Connecting the Battery Cable (Electric Start model)
We ship all Electric Start DR 13 HP CHIPPERS with the negative terminal battery cable disconnected. This
prevents the battery from discharging during shipment. Before using your DR 13 HP CHIPPER, you must
connect the battery cable.
NOTE: The battery and cables are located under the frame.
Slide the Negative battery cable onto the Negative battery terminal (-). Push the cable end all the way onto
the terminal.
Tip:
Make sure you slide the terminal inside the folded-over cable end. Be careful not to get the
terminal in between the cable end and the plastic housing.
