4. ADJUSTMENTS
Each control is clearly labeled as to its function. Each control may be adjusted over a wide range.
Each control may be switched in or out by using the toggle switch located below the control. The
out position set that function to unity gain, that is, as set within the VTR. The in position enables
the associated control.
Video (SetUp) Level
Adjust to eliminate any deviation
Video Level
Adjust to 100 IRE.
Chroma Level
Adjust so that the specified level is obtained.
Hue
Adjust so that the vector waveform meets the VTR specifications.

H SYNC AND SUBCARRIER ADJUSTMENTS
These controls are inset screwdriver adjustments. These adjustments are best made using a
waveform/vectorscope and good video alignment practice by trained personnel only. Consult
the VTR operator/s or service manual for the correct procedure.
6. Y/C
The Y/C is best adjusted by using color bars. Adjust the control for minimal misalignment of the
luminance (Y) and chrominance details of your test image. Note: only Sony uses the Y/C control.
