The SR6-SONY Expander provides output expansion of the DNF SR6-Sony Serial to
Parallel Converter. The SR6-Sony Expander receives six GPI input from a standard SR6-
Sony and outputs 8 sets of buffered outputs.
There are no user adjustments or controls.

INSTALLATION
1. An SR6-Sony serial parallel converter must be installed and operational before the
Expander is installed.
2. Connect an interface cable FROM the SR6-Sony TO the SR6-Sony Expander.
The wiring should be as described in the chart and diagram below.
You may also use a DB15-M to DB15-M cable with all pins wired straight through.
3. Connect an interface cable FROM the SR6-Sony Expander TO the VTR to be
controlled. The wiring should be as described in the chart and diagram below.
NOTE: Tallies inputs are not available on the Expander.
