With the devolo dLAN TV Sat, you have purchased a dLAN adapter that allows
you to watch digital satellite television on your computer. The complex connec-
tion to the antenna using a conventional coaxial cable is unnecessary. The dig-
ital television signals are simply transmitted via dLAN to every room of the house
via the power grid. Thus you can receive high-definition TV at every one of your
computers via the HomePlug AV adapter—with all the benefits satellite televi-
sion offers!

About this manual
After a brief introduction to "dLAN" basics and a brief overview of the function
and features of the dLAN TV Sat in Chapter 1, Chapter 2 will describe the quick
start in a standard environment. Chapter 3 will then show you in detail how to
set up and operate the dLAN adapter successfully. Chapter 4 describes the
adapter's configuration options and how to integrate the product into a dLAN
network. For information about the included TV and radio software, Cyberlink
TV Enhance, refer to Chapter 5. Finally, the Annex contains additional informa-
tion about product safety and the environmental compatibility of the adapter.
