ብ The effects of inclement weather can impair reception. If, for example,
reception is bad only when it rains, it may help to use a larger satellite
antenna.
The remote control does not work.
ቢ Check whether the infrared receiver fits tightly in one of the computer's
available USB ports.
ባ Check whether the USB port works correctly, for example by plugging in
another device as a test.
ቤ Check whether AAA batteries are inserted in the remote control in the cor-
rect position (according to the mark in the battery compartment) and that
they have sufficient capacity.
ብ Check whether when you press a key on the remote control, both the red
LED on the remote control and the red LED on the front panel of the receiver
are illuminated.
ቦ Position the receiver so that it is within clear view of the remote control.
