Please review these button names and descriptions. Several of the buttons on the new
remote are different from the old remote. I was not sure what some of the buttons do.
I have not changed the buttons in the tasks because I am not sure what to replace them with.
No. Button Description
1 POWER Press to turn your TV combo on or off, or press
to bring your TV combo out of standby mode.
2 INPUT Press to select the video mode.
3 CCD Press to select a closed captions mode.
4 DTV Audio Press to select a second audio program if the
TV program you are watching has an SAP.
5 Number buttons Press to select a TV channel or to select a DVD
chapter or CD track number.
When the OSD is open, press to enter the
password or make selections.
6 RECALL Press to return to the previous channel.
7 VOL–/VOL+/CH–/CH+ Press to adjust the volume or change the TV
channel.
When the OSD is open, press to adjust options
and make selections.
8 ENTER Press to close the TV on-screen display (OSD).
9 MENU Press to open the TV on-screen display (OSD).
10 CH.LIST Press to open the DTV channel list.
11 FAVORITE Press to open the DTV favorites list.
12 TITLE Opens the DVD title menu, if available.
13 DISPLAY Press one or more times to display the elapsed
time and remaining time in a DVD title or
chapter.
14 REV Press to go backward on a disc.
15 FWD Press to go forward on a disc.
16 DVD MENU Press to open the DVD menu.
17 Press to navigate through menus.
18 PLAY/ENTER When playing a disc, press to start playback.
When a menu is open, press to confirm a
selection.
19 ANGLE Press to select different viewing angles if the
DVD was recorded with multiple viewing
angles.
