The Routing options key
You can set your drive profile in the
Routing options settings window. The
settings made here have an effect on the
route selection and on the calculation of
the estimated journey times.
> Press
Routing options
in the settings
menu.
The Routing options settings menu ap-
pears.
> Select the required settings.
> Press the
button to display the other
options.
> Confirm your selection by pressing the
OK
key.
Option
Meaning
Profile:
Select the mode of travel
by pressing the button.
Routing type
Select one of the options
by pressing the button:
•
optimum
- the optimal
route in terms of travel
time and mileage
•
fast
- the fastest route
in terms of travel time
•
short
- the shortest
route in terms of
mileage
•
scenic
- the most
winding route.
TMC
Select either
Yes
or
No
.
If
Yes
is selected, the
traffic announcements
received are taken into
account when the route
is calculated and the
route is recalculated au-
tomatically.
Motorways
Ferries
Toll roads
Select one of the options
by pressing the relevant
button:
•
Permitted
- the road
type is taken into
account during route
calculation.
•
Avoid
- the road type is
avoided wherever
possible.
•
Block road
- the road
type is not taken into
account during route
calculation.
