Washing and oiling the filter element:
1. Wash air filter element with warm soapy
water, then rinse.
2. Squeeze the element by pressing it
between the palms of both hands to
remove excess water (A). Do not twist
or wring the element or it will develop
cracks.
3. Immerse the element in a pan filled with
Air filter oil (B). Squeeze the element to
remove excess oil. Make sure that the
element remains damp with oil (but not
soaked).

Cover Air Filter
1. Locate Air Filter Box at rear of Go-kart
and remove cover.
2. Remove foam filter element
3. Inspect Air Filter element for tears or
cracks, if air filter is damaged, replace.
4. Wash and oil air filter element.
5. Reinstall air filter and close
cover.
The air filter element must be kept clean to provide good engine power. If you
use your vehicle under normal conditions, you should service the air filter at
the intervals specified. If you ride in dusty, wet, or muddy conditions, you will
need to inspect the air filter element much more frequently. Use the following
procedures to remove the element to inspect and clean.
