Remote Thermostat

!

Do not connect 110-120 VAC to the gas control valve or wiring system of this unit.

Follow the instructions included with the remote thermostat for installation.

IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL NOTE FOR REMOTE THERMOSTAT USE:

Included with the remote thermostat is a set of instructions that should be given to the homeowner.
Please be aware that the remote thermostat has a 1 to 2 minute lag time between the time the
thermostat is turned up and the heater turns on.

Propane Conversion Kit

(Part # 98900746)

The propane conversion kit should be installed prior to installing the heater (if not, shut off gas
and disconnect the heater from the gas line).

¥ 1/4" Nutdriver

¥ 7/16" and 1/2" Open End Wrench

¥ Standard Screwdriver

¥ Phillips Screwdriver

¥ Micro (1/16") Standard Screwdriver

¥ Thread sealant

¥ Leak Testing Equipment

Packing List

¥ LP Orifice (#50 - stamped "50")

¥ LP Pilot Orifice (.016" dia. - stamped "16LP")

¥ Replacement Regulator

¥ Two Replacement Screws

¥ Regulator Gasket

¥ LP Label

Installation Instructions

Remove the door (see page 20).

Reach into the firebox and remove the rear log shelf (see the illustration below).

Make sure the two tabs
slide over the side of the
burner pan on both sides.

shelf so the
back edges
of the shelf
and burner
pan are flush.
