calibration
· Direct Input (special uses only): Allows user to
check calibration of direct input
The ER-200DW8 is factory calibrated. Calibration values
affect the calculated noise dose. Only expert users should
change calibration settings. Users who wish to check
microphone calibration need a signal source that generates
a 94 dB SPL, 1-kHz signal at the microphone. Calibration of
the direct input feature (special use only) can be checked
with a 10mV, 1-kHz signal. Contact customer service at
Etymotic Research for additional information on Advanced
Features.
