7. Fault finding.
No electrical repairs are to be undertaken by the customer. Failure to comply with this will
render the Intrinsic safety certificate null and void.
If there is an electrical fault in the instrument it must be returned to Casella Ltd to repair.
7.1. Symptom:- Instrument does not switch on
Possible cause:- Battery.
Service hint:- Recharge or replace battery if necessary.
7.2. Symptom:- If probe always reads zero
Possible cause:-Fault with transmitter or receiver.
Service hint:- Instrument should be returned to Casella Ltd
