aquarium appliance be equipped with a leakage circuit breaker.
Warning: For North American market only. To prevent electric
shock, supply electrical power through a wall mounted Residual
Current Device (GFI-Ground Fault Current Interrupter) with a
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA. If the appliance
shows any sight of current leakage or if the GFI switches off,
disconnect the power supply from mains and remove the
appliance from the water.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
5. Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never
yank cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp the plug and pull
to disconnect.
6. Disconnect the plug of this and any other submersed appliance
before placing hands in the water.
7. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating
should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the
appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange
the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
8. Read and observe all the important notices on the appliance.
9. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use. The
use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may result in a dangerous situation.
10. Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to
the weather or to temperatures below freezing.
11. Do not expose the appliance under sunlight or place at low
temperature for a long period of time.
12. Make sure the appliance is securely installed before operating it.
13. The pump must be immersed in water. The pump must not
run dry.
14. A. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS (for USA only): This appliance
should be grounded to minimize the possibility of electric
shock. This appliance is equipped with an electric cord having
an equipment grounding conductor and a grounded type
plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is installed
and grounded in accordance with all appropriate codes and
ordinances.
B. WARNING (for Canada only): This appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord
unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.

The Exo Terra Repti Flo 200 Circulation Pump is for indoor,
household use only and is designed to power a variety of aquarium
appliances that require a submersible circulating pump such as
terrarium waterfalls, circulating water parts, etc. The pump is
hermetically sealed to ensure safety and a long lasting life. Since
it does not employ older technologies requiring oil cooling, it can
never leak or contaminate the area with coolant. This pump is not
recommended or designed to transport corrosive or flammable
compounds or liquids with different properties than water. The pump
motor is hermetically sealed with all live electrical parts immersed in
a protective casing to prevent total insulation against water damage
and electrical shock. The motor is extremely compact and energy
efficient, while at the same time producing a continuous output flow.
The pump can be used in a wide variety of applications. What is
most important is to define the needs of the application and ensure
the pump will be adequate to the job.
