Description

The Dynavector 10X series High Output Moving

Coil cartridge debuted in 1978 winning the
prestigious Design and Engineering Award at the
Chicago CES in both 1978 and 1981. The 10X
series cartridges are also widely accepted as the
benchmark in High Output moving coil cartridges at
this price point and beyond.

With the introduction of the new 10X5 High
Output moving coil there is no doubt Dynavector will
retain this enviable position and again set the
standard for high output moving coil cartridges.

Improvements

The 10X5 now features Dynavector's unique flux

damping and softened magnetism (patent) along with
powerful neodymium magnet that combine to
eliminate any hardness or irritating edginess that
commonly occurs in many moving coil cartridges.

Dynavector are also renowned for the capability

of winding the finenest coil assemblies. This has
enabled them to minutely increase the coil wire
diameter 10X5 to achieve a reduction of impedance
to 150 ohms whilist retaining a healthy 2.8mV
output. This also ensures both a rugged and
reliable circuitry.

The 10X5 also features a newly designed
Aluminium head block to provide a rigid platform for
the cartridge motor and secure fxing to the tonearm.

Stylus Replacement and Warranty

In the case of a worn stylus Dynavector
undertake to provide a replacement at a special
discount rate. This same special discount applies to
all non warranty claims please consult your retailer
for details.

The cartridge is guaranteed for a period of one
year from date of purchase against electrical and
mechanical defects provided the instructions have
been adhered to and the form overleaf has been
completed.

The guarantee does not cover stylus wear nor
cover damage to the stylus assembly arising from
mishandling or abuse. Should a defect occur the

Stylus Cleaning

Keep your records clean. Dust causes record
wear and sonic distortion. When cleaning the stylus,
use the soft brush suppled with the cartidge. Brush
only from back to front to avoid damage to the
stylus assembly. If a dark deposit like tan should
appear on the stylus tip, always use the soft brush
with a minium amount of the high quality stylus
cleaning fluid. No-alcohol stylus cleaning fluid is
recommended in a routine maintenance. We do
