2. Within 3 sec. press and reiease the Vaiet button, the Parking Lights wiii fiash tiwce.
The LED wiii go out . (The system is out of Vaiet Mode.)
The Vaiet button can oniy be used if the ignition key is in the ignition on ( run ) position.
Ignition Valet
The system can be piaced in Vaiet Mode to disabie the remote starting capabiiities. if the
vehicie needs to be serviced, or if you park it indoors, Vaiet Mode wiii prevent the engine
from being accidentaiiy started by remote controi.
To enter Valet Mode
1. With the key in the ignition switch, turn the key to the on ( run / ignition ) and then off
positions 5 times within 10 seconds.
2. The Parking Light wiii fiash 3 times indicating the Moduie is now in Vaiet Mode. The
LED wiii turn
on soiid.
To exit Valet Mode
1. With the key in the ignition switch, turn the key to the on ( run / ignition ) and then off
positions 5 times within 10 seconds.
2. The Parking Light wiii fiash twice indicating the Moduie is now out of Vaiet Mode.
The LED wiii turn
off .
Remote Valet
This feature wiii put your vehicie into Vaiet Mode using the remote transmitter instead of
the Vaiet button as above.
Mote: Once the Eiectronic Vaiet is activated, the remote starter and Aiarm features are
disabied.
To put the system into Valet Mode:
1. Hoid down the unlock and start buttons simuitaneousiy for 3 seconds.
2. The Parking Lights will flash 3 times.
The siren wiii chirp twice and the LED wiii come
on .
To take the system out of Valet Mode:
1. Hoid down the unlock and start buttons simuitaneousiy for 3 seconds.
2. The Parking Lights will flash 2 times.
The siren wiii chirp twice, then pause, then chirp twice again, and the LED wiii go out .
“Home Valet” Mode
This safety feature wiii remoteiy piace the vehicie into a no-remote-start mode: if the
vehicie is parked indoors there is no danger of the vehicie starting by accident with the
remote controi.
Mote: Once the Home Vaiet Mode is activated, the vehicie wiii not start by remote.
To activate the Home Valet Mode:
Press the lock or unlock button.
Within 3 seconds, press the stop button untii the parking iights go out.
To disabie the Home Valet Mode:
Turn the ignition key to the
ignition on ( run ) position.
The system wiii warn you if someone attempts to start your vehicie whiie it stands in
Home Vaiet Mode. The parking iights wiii:

Pedai.
Make sure to release the brake pedal.
3. Within 20 sec. Press lock , unlock or start on the transmitter.
The parking lights will flash 3 times quickly and remain lit.
4. Remove the key: the engine wiii go on running.
5. Exit the vehicie and ciose the door.
6. Press and hoid either:
a. lock to iock the doors and shut down the engine after 60 sec.;
b. unlock to uniock the doors and shut down the engine after 60 sec.;
c. stop to shut down the engine immediateiy, without affecting the doors
(this wiii by-pass Turbo Mode).
d. trunk to set the vehicle into idle mode
Engine Run Time
If you have a gas engine, your system can be programmed to run the engine for 3, 15, or
25 minutes (15 min defauit). If you have a diesei engine, it can be programmed to run the
engine for 8, 20, or 30 minutes (20 min defauit).
Extended Run Time
With the vehicie running under a remote start, bressinfl and hoiding the start button foil
more than 1 second^ wiii reset the run time counter to zero and restart the run time cycie
from the beginning.
To stop the vehicie, at any moment, simpiy press the stop button. This procedure can
oniy be carried out once per remote start.
Example: if your Module Is programmed for a run time of 3 minutes and your vehicle has
been running for 2 minutes already, pressing the start button will reset the counter to
zero and the Engine will run for another cycle (In this case, 3 minutes).
Multi-Car Operation
This option aiiows the owner of two vehicies, both equipped with identicai systems, to
controi both systems with oniy one remote transmitter. To controi the second vehicie,
simuitaneousiy press the
trunk button and the button of the function you wish to use:
Press trunk + lock button simuitaneousiy:..................... lock
Press trunk + unlock :..................................................... unlock
Press trunk + start : ....................................................... start
Press trunk + stop :......................................................... stop
Press trunk + start for 3 sec:......................................... cold weather mode
Car Finder
When enabied, the Car Finder option wiii heip you iocate your vehicie by sending a
puisating signai through the horn or the siren. To hear the signai, press the lock and
unlock buttons simuitaneousiy. This wiii produce a puisating signai for the time you keep
the buttons pressed.
