BOBBIN THREAD TENSION
ADJUSTMENT
!f the machine skips or loops
stitches, it may require a
tension adjustment.
To check the bobbin thread
tension, follow these steps:
® Push the latches of the
shuttle race cover outward
as shown in figure ®.
@ Remove the shuttle cover
as shown in figure
(3) Remove the shuttle as
shown in figure d).
® Suspend the bobbin, the
bobbin case and the shuttle.
When pulling the thread
gentiy, all of them should
slide down with a slight
resistance as shown in
figure @. If not, the bobbin
case tension is too tight. If
they slide down too easily,
the bobbin case tension is
too loose.

Once the bobbin case
tension
is correctly
adjusted, the upper tension
can be easily adjusted as
shown on page 16.
X Shuttle
y Bobbin tension screw,
use a small screwdriver
to tighten/loosen.

Si la máquina pierde puntos o
hace nudos por el revés en la
costura no es problema de la
máquina, sino de la tensión.
Para verificar la tensión de la
bobina, se debe tomar ésta y
el canillero como se indica en
el dibujo, si la tensión es
correcta
se desplazarán
lentamente.
Después ajustar la tensión
superior con los número 4, 5,
o 6.
® Girar los seguros hacia
afuera.
@ Quitar la tapa del canillero.
@ Quitar el canillero.
@ X Canillero
y Carrete y bobina
El canillero y la bobina se
desplazarán lentamente.
