(1) Set the needle in the highest position by

turning the handwheel toward you.

(2) Remove the needle, and the foot.

(3) Remove the needle plate, loosening the

screws with the large screwdriver.

(4) Brush off all the lint with the attached

cleaning brush.

Clean especially the upper part of the feed

dog and between the teeth.

Rotary hook

Dust or lint in the rotary hook cause the slow

so it always needs to be clean.
